Extended Care Program
More information on ECP
The goal of the Extended Care Program is to provide working parents with a safe, nurturing place where their children can attend while school is not in session. The Extended Care staff strives to provide an atmosphere where children can learn and play each day.
The Extended Care Program is open to students at St. Joseph Catholic School. While in the Program, students are expected to follow the same behavioral rules as during the school day. The Program begins on the first day of school, and runs throughout the entire school year. If the school is closed in observance of a holiday, or for inclement weather, the Extended Care Program will be closed, as well. Parents may sign their child up for the Program at any time during the school year. The Program allows for weekly use, or for daily use.
Before School Care: this service begins at 7:00am and runs through 7:35am, at which time the children are dismissed to morning carpool. Students are supervised by the staff of St. Joseph, and may engage in socializing, playing games, reading, or studying for a test or quiz. Students may also bring their breakfast to Before School Care, if they wish.
After School Care: this service begins immediately after school and runs through 6:15pm. Students in the After School Care Program follow a daily schedule which allows time to complete homework, play in the gym, enjoy a nutritious snack, and socialize.
