Students must be eligible based on government requirements and the school admission process. Students must meet the school requirements, as well, to attend St. Joseph Catholic School.
What is the scholarship amount?
For the first year of the program (the 2025 - 2026 academic year), the scholarship amount will be up to $6,500.
When will scholarship funding be available?
The initial funding of approved student accounts will be on or after July 1, 2025.
Who is eligible to apply for the Georgia Promise Scholarship?
- A public school student that has completed 2 semesters (one academic year)
- A rising kindergarten student
A student must reside in a Georgia public school attendance zone that is included in a list produced annually by the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement as an eligible school
How will families apply?
New families will be able to apply through a new website posted in January 2025.
How can the funds be used?
- St. Joseph Catholic School tuition, fees, required textbooks, curriculum, and supplemental materials.
- St. Joseph Catholic School tutoring services provided by our teachers.
