Who we are
As part of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, St. Joseph Catholic School is a Pre-K4 through 8th grade parish school. The Archdiocese of Atlanta employs a district-wide accreditation model; the accreditation agency for all Archdiocesan schools is Cognia. This district-wide accreditation has a dual purpose: to ensure that our school continues to provide a strong religious foundation for our students, while at the same time, offering an excellent academic education.
Our top-notch academic program is evident through our distinction as a twice recognized National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, which was conferred upon the school by the United States Department of Education. The school was recognized as an “Exemplary High Performing School”, which means that our students scored within the top 15% of all schools within the nation in language arts and math. We are a school of EXCELLENCE!
However, we are first and foremost a Catholic school rooted in the traditions and our Catholic Faith and the teachings of our Lor Jesus Christ.
